Dr. Ambrish Gupta specializes in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, geriatric medicine, aerospace medicine in Arlington, Virginia. Dr. Gupta has 33 years of experience as an MD, and is affiliated with Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and Virginia Hospital Center.

Shobhit Arora, MD, MMM, FACEP is a board-certified emergency physician with over 15 years of experience in clinical medicine, medical leadership, and medical informatics. He enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his family and dog.

Dr. Kiren Dayal

Dr. Dayal is a board-certified family practitioner. Dr. Dayal recently relocated to the DC area and is proud to offer his patients over twelve years of urgent care experience. When Dr. Dayal is not in the office, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Ronald J Barkin, M.D.

Oncology, Ophthalmology

Dr. Barkin earned his BS in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He attended medical school at New York University and completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University/Greenwich Hospital. He did a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Georgetown University. Dr. Barkin joined Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates in 1992.

Dr. Suresh Malhotra, M.D., FA.C.P., A.G.A.F

Gynaecology, Ophthalmology

Dr. Malhotra founded Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates, P.C. in 1989. He is a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at D.C. General Hospital/Georgetown University Medical Program and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Shaad E. Abdullah, M.D.

Oncology

Dr. Shaad Essa Abdullah is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. Dr. Abdullah prior to joining the Greater Washington Oncology Associates completed his clinical training in Hematology & Oncology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in New York. After being chosen as the sole chief fellow at the Einstein/Montefiore fellowship program, he was involved in the administration, didactics and clinical activities of one of the largest hematology / oncology training programs in the country.

Dr. William K. Kelly, M.D.

Oncology

Dr. Kelly joined Greater Washington Oncology Associates in 2008. He has received a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and Medical Doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Upon completion of his Medical Degree and internship, Dr. Kelly entered duty in the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1984 as a General Medical Officer at Sembach Airbase, Germany.

Dr. Gurdeep S. Chhabra, M.D.

Oncology

Dr. Chhabra joined Greater Washington Oncology Associates in 1998. He received his Medical Degree from Gauhati University and completed his internship in 1988 at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1993 at Prince George’s Hospital and completed his fellowship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC in Hematology/Oncology in 1996.

Dr. Daya S. Sharma, M.D.

Oncology

Dr. Sharma said he has seen a number of advancements in the practice of hematology/oncology during the past decade. Some of this progress includes the development of new chemotherapy drugs, better techniques for delivering chemotherapy in outpatient settings, the development of better medications for treating the side effects from chemotherapy and more knowledge about the drugs being used, as well as their side effects.

Dr. Ram S. Trehan, M.D.

Oncology

Ram S. Trehan started Greater Washington Oncology Associates in 1990 after completion of his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from The Washington hospital Center. He has been practice in the Suburban Maryland area as well as Washington D.C. and at present heads the group of five Board Certified Medical Oncologists/Hematologists.
